Masons who attended the 2 full days received a Certificate of Completion from Abstract Masonry Restoration.

A.I.A. C.E. Learning Units were available for qualified participants. An application for A.I.A. HSW C.E.U's is pending.

Join us if you are a masonry contractor who would like to develop a specialized skill in historic masonry. There is a need for skilled historic masons in Idaho.

Join us if you are an architect, building owner, or historic preservation commissioner who wants to make sure the most appropriate materials, methods and practices are used in the restoration of your historic building.

This hands-on intensive workshop covers the important difference between historic masonry and modern masonry, discuss how historic masonry materials were originally designed to process moisture and the roles of historic mortar. Repointing and strategies for preserving and restoring deteriorated stone are also covered.
