The Indian Valley Oddfellows #121 was formed in 1926. Mr. A. J. Steward allowed them to build the current hall on his property, with the understanding that as long as there was a lodge charter the property could be used for this purpose. In the 1980s the Steward Community Hall nonprofit group was formed to manage the building.
