The Oregon Shortline Railway depot is located in the center of Blackfoot. The long, low bungalow-styled building of dark rusticated stone with lighter quoins symbolizes the important of the railroad in the growth of the region’s agricultural industry. The exterior is unchanged from its original appearance. It now serves as chamber office and as a museum of the potato growing industry in the rate. The museum receives over 20,000 visitors a year.
