The Fort Sherman Chapel is Coeur d’Alene’s oldest church, school, library and meeting hall. It was built in 1880 by he U.S. Army as past of Fort Coeur d’Alene. The Gothic Revival building is painted its original deep red color. It is owned and operated by the Museum of North Idaho.
