The Wallace Public Library is one of four remaining operational Carnegie Libraries in Idaho. It was constructed along Renaissance Neoclassic lines with a $12,000 grant from the Carnegie Foundation in 1910-1911. And is located on ground donated to the City of Wallace by the Northern Pacific Railroad. It is fully restored.
