The Bonner County Historical Museum is located at 611 S. Ella in Sandpoint. Located in Lakeview Park, the museum features exhibits detailing the history and development of Bonner County. Displays include Farragut Naval Training Base, a pioneer kitchen, fur traders, steamboats and railroads. A research library and large collection of historical photographs are also available. Adjacent to the museum is an Idaho native plant arboretum and park.
