The historic log cabin is Lewiston’s oldest surviving residence dating back to the late 1860’s.  Originally it sat on Nineteenth Street between Main and G streets. Samuel Thompson was the first documented owner who came to Lewiston in 1962 and became a wealthy landowner. The cabin was moved to Pioneer Park in 1937.
