Originally constructed as an IOOF Hall in approximately 1900, this hall has served the city of Peck in numerous ways. From City Council Meetings, Ladies Club, Fire Department, Community Bingo, Hunter's Breakfasts, weddings, family reunions, and dances all occur at the Peck Community Center. It is a charming grange style building with a wonderful sprung wood floor. Sprung Floors date back to the early 20th century and are built to provide spring through bending woven wooden battens. Such floors are considered the best available for dance halls and indoor sports, absorbing shock and giving a softer feel.
