| The Latah County Historical Society Annex houses the research collections of the Historical Society including 1,151 manuscripts, documents and reminiscences, over 6,000 files, oral history tapes, genealogical and biographical data, art, maps and scrapbooks. The photo collection includes thousands of prints and negatives. The artifacts include over 8,000 items of clothing and accessories dating from the mid-1800s to the present. The building itself is an example of an elegant apartment house built for the professional clientele of a university town. It originally contained five apartments; a sixth was added in the 1950s. |
