The former Shepherd’s Inn was located in this historic house in Roberts. A merchant took the chance that the town would boom because of the railroad and built the 8000 square foot house in 1904. The home is an amazing example of quality materials and workmanship. Roberts didn’t become a boomtown and the merchant had to sell it after only living in it for six months. It has primarily been used as a family home, a home for women in crises pregnancy and during the Teton Flood as an emergency response center. It is once again in private hands.
