The Lemhi County Historical Museum was established in 1963. It houses the largest extant collection of Lemhi Shoshone (Agai Dika) artifacts. Clothing, beadwork, arrowheads, ceremonial accessories and an extensive photograph collection detail the traditional lives of Sacajawea’s people. The Museum also features the area’s history in mining ranching and logging.
