The Dorman house sets on the southeast corner of Logan Street and Kimball Avenue, in the Pioneer (formerly Arlington Heights) subdivision. Surrounded by an expanse of lawn and large trees, the house is a two-story, rectangular structure in Neo-Classical style, monumental in form but with minimal stylistic detailing. Construction on Henry and Ida Dorman’s home was completed in 1910. Builder Lem Harding has been credited with designing and building the house.
