The Pine Street Schoolbus has markings from independent school districts one and three. But no one is sure any more which districts operated the bus; before school consolidation in the 1940s, different counties had duplicate district numbers. The chassis and engine are a 1934 Fore. Waye Company, still in the school-bus business, made the body. School buses were rare in Idaho in the 1930s.
