The Bishops’ House was built in 1893 and originally housed the family of the Episcopal Bishop of Idaho. The house, originally located at 2nd and Idaho streets was scheduled for demolition. Local preservation groups protested and the owner, St. Lukes Hospital, donated the house to The Friends of the Bishops House. It was moved to its present location in 1976 and can be rented for family and community events.
